Martin Jensen

Martin Jensen is one of the biggest DJ names in the world and one of the few Danish DJs who have managed to achieve true international success.

The 32-year-old DJ and producer from Silkeborg knew from an early age that performing and making music was the path he wanted to follow in life. In 2015, he released his first single, "Si", built around the world-famous football player Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic celebration. The single marked the beginning of Martin Jensen's journey towards stardom, and with the release of the follow-up, "Night After Night", in the same year, he was well on his way. The single "All I Wanna Do” cemented his position as one of the leading hitmakers in the nordics, as the release received a platinum certification in all the Scandinavian countries.

However, it was the megahit "Solo Dance" that catapulted him to the international charts and made it clear that the world of DJ’s had a new superstar. The single reached a position as no. 25 on Spotify's Global Top 50 chart. With Top 20 rankings in 17 countries and a no. 1 on the UK Singles Chart, "Solo Dance" gave Martin Jensen his international breakthrough. At its peak, the track had over 1 million daily streams. The single has been certified platinum in several countries worldwide, including Canada, France, and Germany, double platinum in Italy and the UK, triple platinum in Denmark, quadruple platinum in Norway, and an impressive eight times platinum in Sweden. The single now has more than 750 million streams on Spotify.

The combination of Martin Jensen's ability to deliver spectacular live shows, an enormous global fan base, and the talent to create hits with international potential was recognized by the world’s biggest club music magazine, DJ Mag, where he entered the annual top 100 DJ ranking. He first appeared on the list in 2016 as number 83, in 2017 he was number 70, in 2018 number 54, and in 2019 he reached his highest position so far as number 45. Being on the list for four consecutive years is an achievement no other Danish DJ has ever accomplished before.

The enormous popularity led to Martin Jensen performing at the world’s biggest electronic festivals and clubs such as Tomorrowland in Belgium, Ushuaïa in Ibiza, Lollapalooza, Marquee, and the world's largest party venue, World Club Dome.

In 2021, Martin Jensen created ME MYSELF ONLINE, an inventive concert concept born during the COVID-19 pandemic. The show in Aalborg reached an audience of 1.5 million, making ME MYSELF ONLINE the most-watched online stream in 2021.

Martin Jensen has released music with some of the biggest artists on the planet, such as Rita Ora, Ava Max, Sigala, Katy Perry, Cardi B, Jason Derulo, James Arthur, The Vamps, Timmy Trumpet, and Ed Sheeran. “Nobody” with James Arthur has gained more than 239 million streams on Spotify, and the remix of “Day ‘N’ Nite” with Stefy De Cocco and Ben Hamilton has over 96 million streams. Martin Jensen’s songs has surpassed – extreme - 3 billion streams in total on Spotify.

With a newly announced show on Belgium’s Tomorrowland and other international shows about to be revealed in the near future, as well as a bunch of a-list collabs on upcoming releases, 2024 looks like another big year for the Danish DJ superstar.
