Following the phenomenal international success of ‘Turn The Lights Off’, Justė, Jaxstyle and Jon have been announced as nominees at the prestigious 2026 NRJ Music Awards for best ‘International Collaboration’ of the year, marking another major milestone for one of the year’s biggest breakout dance records.
The 28th edition of the NRJ Music Awards will take place on Friday, October 23, 2026, broadcast live on TF1 from the iconic Palais des Festivals in Cannes. The nomination sees Justė make history as the first Lithuanian artist ever nominated at the awards, while Denmark’s Jaxstyle and Jon join a remarkably small group of Danish artists to have previously received recognition at the ceremony following MØ, Lukas Graham and Aqua.
The nomination arrives after a remarkable year for ‘Turn The Lights Off’, which has grown from a viral resurgence into a genuine international hit. As of September 2026, the track has generated more than 4 billion global radio impressions and surpassed 85 million streams on Spotify, alongside more than 200 million social media views.
Its radio performance has been equally significant. ‘Turn The Lights Off’ spent six consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Polish Airplay Chart, reached No. 2 on the Dutch Airplay Chart and broke into the Top 5 in France and Sweden, alongside Top 10 radio positions across Estonia, Ukraine, Latvia and Slovakia. On a wider international level, the single peaked at No. 12 on the European Airplay Chart and No. 19 on the Global Airplay Chart, while its streaming momentum carried it to No. 4 on Spotify’s Viral 50 Global chart.
For 23-year-old Justė, the record has propelled an extraordinary rise. Her Spotify audience climbed to a peak of more than five million monthly listeners, introducing the Lithuanian artist to a global audience while establishing her as one of dance music’s most exciting new names.
The continued evolution of ‘Turn The Lights Off’ has only extended its reach. A run of high-profile remixes has brought some of electronic music’s biggest names into its orbit, including Gabry Ponte and Hypaton, followed by an Afrojack remix premiered at ULTRA Music Festival ahead of summer 2026. The full NRJ Music Awards categories and nominees will be revealed when public voting opens at noon on Wednesday, September 16. Fans will then be able to vote until noon on Friday, October 23, ahead of that evening’s ceremony live from Cannes.
